Pantarei Approach
Somatic Coaching: Physical presence as the foundation for professional clarity.
My goal is for you to leave our session feeling a significantly deeper connection to yourself.
What might sound like a cliché at first glance is actually a tangible necessity. Most of us spend our daily lives managing expectations and fulfilling roles. In the process, we lose touch with our own impulses, needs, and reactions—we function, but we are no longer actively steering from our own substance.
Why body-oriented work for professionals?
When we are under constant tension, we often retreat entirely into our intellect. We analyze everything, but we no longer feel the consequences of our decisions in time.
In Pantarei sessions, we use a combination of targeted dialogue and bodywork to restore the connection between your head and the rest of your system. It is about more than just organizing your resources and experiences cognitively; it’s about making them physiologically accessible.
The goal is not "relaxation," but the restoration of your agency:
- Resilience over Numbness: We dissolve the emotional and physical rigidity that occurs when you have spent too much time in "functioning mode."
- Leadership Presence: By reconnecting with your physical self, you regain the immediacy needed to act with precision and authenticity in both your professional and personal relationships.
- Grounding: Only through this connection can you develop the stability required to no longer just "endure" obstacles, but to actively transform them.
What specifically happens in the sessions?
In every session, we work as partners. I explore your individual experiences with you and guide the session through dialogue and touch.
- Experiencing over Analyzing: I ask questions and use touch to help you experience yourself more intensely. I invite you to verbalize what is present in the moment—not as an abstract analysis, but to feel the difference it makes to voice sensations without judgment or filters.
- Methodology: We work in various positions—sitting, standing, moving, or lying on a massage table—depending on what best supports your current focus.
- Clothing: I recommend comfortable clothing. You always decide the boundaries within which you feel comfortable.
The Process: Sustainability over "Quick-Fixes"
Pantarei is not a band-aid for quick symptom relief; it is an investment in your long-term stability. I often support clients through complex transitional phases or with issues that cannot be resolved through logic alone.
- First session: Used to clarify your objectives and conduct an initial assessment. (Duration: approx. 75–90 minutes)
- Following sessions: Deepening the somatic work on your focus areas. (Duration: approx. 60–70 minutes)
- Duration: Every process is individual. Whether it’s an acute issue or long-term support for exhaustion or a lack of direction—the expected duration usually becomes clear within the first few sessions.
What is the Pantarei Approach?
The Pantarei Approach (Greek for "everything flows") is a somatic method based on the premise that profound change only becomes sustainable when it is physically integrated. Developed in Berlin by Claudia Glowik and Vered Manasse, the approach combines targeted verbal communication with mindful, structured touch.
At its core, it is about somatic learning:Instead of only analyzing problems intellectually, Pantarei utilizes the intelligence of your nervous system to resolve stuck reaction patterns—often manifesting as physical tension or emotional numbness—directly at the source. The focus remains consistently on your unique individuality and existing resources. It is not a "healing system" designed to fix you, but an explorative process that restores the link between your mind, your emotions, and your physical presence. This strengthens your ability to navigate even dynamic and high-pressure phases of life from your full substance.
An investment in your inner stability.
Pantarei is not a wellness program; it is a tool for maintaining access to your own resources in a demanding environment. It is the path back to your implicit knowledge and your full effectiveness.
Let’s clarify in a 30-minute conversation whether this approach is the right tool for your current situation.
FAQ
Is the Pantarei Approach a form of therapy or massage?
Neither. It is a somatic learning process. While a massage is often passive, you are actively involved in Pantarei. We use touch and conversation to train your body awareness. It is about not only relaxing physical blockages and stress patterns in the short term, but also understanding them as signals from your system and making them usable for your ability to act. At the same time, Pantarei is not therapy and does not replace a medical or psychotherapeutic process.
Do I need to undress for the sessions?
No. The work usually takes place in comfortable everyday clothing. The focus is on your well-being and safety. You decide at all times on the intensity of the touch and the degree to which you choose to open up.
How does bodywork help with professional stress?
Stress is not a purely cognitive matter; it takes place in your nervous system. When you feel "stuck" or exhausted, it is a physiological reaction. Through the Pantarei Approach, you learn to recognize these states early and regulate them physically. This makes you more resilient and present in high-pressure situations.
What if I "can't feel" myself?
This is a very common starting point, especially for people accustomed to operating purely through their intellect. This is exactly where the method begins. We work without pressure to perform. The touch and targeted dialogue help you rebuild the connection to your body step-by-step and at your own pace.
In which language does the coaching take place?
I can work with you in both German and English.
